TUGUEGARAO CITY – A 69-year-old village chief and three of his kin survived an ambush in Peñablanca, Cagayan province on Wednesday, a belated police report stated on Saturday.
Police Captain Isabelita Gano, Cagayan Valley police spokesperson, recognized the victims as Bonifacio Caliguiran, 69, village chief of Nanguillattan; his spouse Marvie, 55; son John Rey, 13; and kinswoman Armelante Collado, 34, the entire stated city.
They have been unscathed within the taking pictures.
The motorcycle-riding gunmen tried to overhaul Caliguiran’s automobile and opened hearth.
Probers discovered one slug beneath the driving force’s seat, one slug and a reside bullet on the pavement.
Police have been specializing in a potential work-related or a private motive within the taking pictures.
