UPDATED OHRID, North Macedonia — Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated that Kosovo and Serbia have reached “some sort of a deal” on implementing a Western-backed deal to normalize ties on Saturday.
“We now have agreed on some factors, not on all factors. This isn’t the ultimate deal,” Vucic instructed reporters in Ohrid.
He stated that regardless of disagreements on some points, talks with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti had been “first rate”.
He stated Serbia’s path in the direction of EU membership will likely be conditioned on implementing the deal.
